Area Director

About the role

WeWork is seeking an experienced Area Director to lead a portfolio of up to 15 premium buildings across a defined Latin American region. Reporting to the General Manager of Latin America, you will drive profitability, member experience, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership for the assigned portfolio, ensuring revenue growth and cost control.
• Develop and execute financial strategies, monitor operating expenses, and improve EBITDA.
• Collaborate with other Area Directors to standardize best practices across the region.
• Partner with Sales to meet revenue targets and engage key enterprise members.
• Manage landlord relationships and act as the market spokesperson alongside Real Estate teams.
• Lead Community Managers, fostering high member satisfaction (NPS) and employee engagement (eNPS).
• Resolve complex member or operational escalations at the market level.
• Ensure adherence to global operating standards while optimizing local efficiencies.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in real estate, hospitality, or multi‑unit retail with a strong focus on operations and P&L management.
• Deep knowledge of the Latin American market and ability to drive regional synergy.
• Proven leadership skills, capable of mentoring and developing building‑level teams.
