About the role
We are looking for an Automotive Account Manager to lead and grow our B2B customer portfolio in the automotive sector. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, profitability and strengthening relationships with key clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop assigned customer accounts, ensuring sales, profitability and performance goals are met.
- Prepare, negotiate and present quotations for RFQs, aligning pricing with margin objectives.
- Identify and secure new profitable business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company’s brand.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
- Analyze account profitability and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop sales strategies, plans and budgets for each account.
- Track business opportunities, report on account performance and define KPIs.
- Improve sales and quotation processes to increase operational efficiency.
Required profile
- Degree in business, engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales management experience in an automotive environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
- Customer‑focused, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Analytical thinker capable of turning insights into actions.
- Self‑driven, resilient and adaptable to market changes.
- Team player comfortable in a dynamic, international setting.
- Fluent in English and Brazilian Portuguese.
