Consultant – ATHIS Training Facilitation (Bauru)

About the role

UN-Habitat is looking for a consultant to facilitate the ATHIS (Technical Assistance for Social Housing) training programme in Bauru, Brazil. The assignment lasts five months and the consultant will work closely with UN‑Habitat’s operational and technical teams, reporting to the Head of the Brazil Office.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of the initial premises and identify priority thematic areas for the ATHIS training plan and materials, based on the project’s capacity needs assessment and ATHIS assessment.
• Develop a comprehensive training plan and related materials for an ATHIS training course, structured into three modules targeting municipal professionals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programmes, preferably in the urban development or social‑housing sector.
• Ability to collaborate with UN‑Habitat staff, local authorities and partner organisations.
• Fluency in English; Portuguese language skills are an advantage.
