Digital Product Country Director

About the role

Western Union is seeking a visionary Digital Product Country Director to shape the digital bank’s offering in Brazil. You will lead the definition, development and execution of digital products, ensuring they meet customer needs, regulatory requirements and business growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive product strategies aligned with company goals and market demand.
• Oversee product development, strategy and execution while enhancing the overall customer experience.
• Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and monitor progress across cross‑functional teams.
• Act as general manager, coordinating marketing, GTM, product, operations, compliance, risk, fraud and finance functions.
• Collaborate with other Western Union country leaders to deliver a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Navigate regulated environments, handling licensing, risk management and compliance.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships with key partners.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in retail consumer banking and/or payments within a digital environment.
• Proven track record of defining, launching and operating financial services products such as accounts, cards and Pix.
• At least 7 years of product management experience, preferably with a technical background.
• Experience engaging customers and selling in regulated markets.
• Strong vendor and budget management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written business English and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Team player with strong organizational and project‑management skills, able to prioritize under tight deadlines.
