English Language Trainer for Child – In‑home Lessons

About the role

Executive Language Training (ELT) is looking for a qualified English Language Trainer to deliver in‑home lessons to an 8‑year‑old child in São Caetano do Sul. The role involves two 60‑minute sessions per week, focused on building conversational skills and preparing the child for schooling in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 60‑minute English lessons twice a week at the participant’s home.
• Design and adapt lesson plans to the child’s basic English level and learning objectives.
• Encourage social communication in English and support the child’s future academic transition.
• Assess progress regularly and provide feedback to the family.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English to non‑native speakers, preferably children.
• Strong understanding of language acquisition and effective pedagogical methods.
• Availability on Mondays and Thursdays between 3 pm and 9 pm BRT.
