Information Technology Support Engineer – Desktop Support (L1)

About the role

We are looking for an Information Technology Support Engineer to provide on‑site L1 desktop support for our business users. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of desktop devices, ensuring they are secure, up‑to‑date, and operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage hardware, software and connectivity incidents from ticket creation to resolution.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) and desk‑side support services.
• Deploy, configure and maintain standard operating systems and office applications on laptops and desktops.
• Apply patch updates, replace hardware components and manage spare inventory.
• Monitor security profiles and anti‑virus compliance on all devices.
• Provide VIP desk‑side support and act as the primary on‑site IT contact when other teams are unavailable.
• Administer printers, scanners and mobile device support.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in on‑site desktop support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing and SCCM/Intune deployment tools.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Lync, VPN and basic MAC/tablet support.
