Junior IT Specialist (Rio de Janeiro)

About the role

RINA is looking for a Junior IT Specialist to join its Operating Engine Division in Rio de Janeiro. The role provides second‑level technical support, ensuring smooth IT operations while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑level support for Windows 11 and Office 365 users.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PC hardware and software issues.
• Install operating systems on notebooks and workstations.
• Set up audio/video equipment for meetings and corporate events, including HP and Poly video‑conferencing tools.
• Support MFP printers (A4/A3) and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Offer basic mobile device support for Android and iPhone devices.
• Assist with remote access and login issues using TeamViewer.
• Monitor and manage IT inventory (notebooks, peripherals, accessories).
• Participate in project‑based IT initiatives and occasional server administration tasks.
• Travel occasionally to support regional and international offices.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience in IT support or infrastructure administration.
• Solid understanding of general IT troubleshooting.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Spanish is a plus.
• Reliable, discreet, and professional attitude.
• Calm and patient when addressing technical issues.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and proactive mindset.
