About the role
Clara is seeking a Key Account Manager for its Travel & Tourism vertical. Based in São Paulo and working in a hybrid model, you will act as a strategic partner for high‑value travel companies, helping them streamline payment flows and improve financial operations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for large travel industry players (TMCs, tour operators, agencies) and embed Clara’s solutions into their daily workflows.
- Identify and capture travel‑specific spend (GDS settlements, hotel guarantees, supplier payments) to increase wallet share through upselling and cross‑selling.
- Analyze back‑office processes to address travel‑related pain points such as virtual card issuance for hotel bookings and real‑time expense reconciliation.
- Conduct regular strategic reviews with CFOs and Finance Directors to demonstrate ROI, maintain high Net Revenue Retention and reduce churn.
- Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to design features tailored for the travel sector, including ERP integrations and custom reporting.
- Monitor travel industry trends (IATA regulations, NDC, corporate travel recovery) to position Clara as a thought leader.
