Regulatory Counsel – Crypto

About the role

Revolut’s Legal team is looking for a Senior Regulatory Counsel to guide the business through the rapidly evolving crypto‑asset landscape. You will partner with product, commercial and compliance teams to ensure new and existing financial features are launched safely, legally and in line with emerging regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on compliance and legal issues related to structuring crypto‑assets and other financial features.
• Draft and review customer‑facing legal documents for crypto products.
• Manage regulatory expectations, applications and ongoing relationships with local regulators.
• Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to design compliant solutions.
• Ensure adherence to financial services regulations, including the upcoming crypto regime and MiFID.
• Expand Revolut’s product offering while meeting regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 6+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a legal role.
• Academic law credentials (LLB, JD, or equivalent).
• Proven experience advising on crypto‑assets, either in‑house or at a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of financial legislation such as FSMA (RAO) and MiFID.
• Understanding of relevant supervisory frameworks and financial regulations.
• Ability to make decisions amid ambiguity and incomplete information.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
