Sales Director (Wholesale)

About the role

PUMA is seeking a dynamic Sales Director to lead wholesale business development across key accounts. You will shape commercial partnerships, drive growth in sales, margin and market share, and ensure best‑in‑class retail execution within a fast‑moving sportswear environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business plans for key wholesale accounts, aligning product and brand strategies with growth targets.
• Define point‑of‑sale strategy and lead high‑impact commercial plans, campaigns and sales‑force effectiveness.
• Own the end‑to‑end Go‑To‑Market process, including forecasting, demand planning, allocation and order management.
• Lead integrated wholesale planning, optimizing demand and inventory to maximize stock efficiency across the company and its partners.
• Monitor market trends and consumer dynamics to adapt strategies and maintain competitive advantage.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in commercial management within wholesale or retail, preferably sportswear or fashion.
• Strong understanding of sports market trends and consumer behavior.
• Proven track record in commercial strategy, strategic planning and budgeting.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
