Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate highly scalable cloud infrastructure for a data‑driven environment in Brazil. You will be a key technical contributor, ensuring reliability, performance, and security of cloud‑native systems while collaborating with engineering, data, and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve resilient AWS infrastructure, following best‑practice architecture.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS), focusing on performance, security, autoscaling, and workload reliability.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ensuring modularity and governance.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm, and related tools.
• Automate operational processes with Python or Bash scripts.
• Implement observability solutions with Datadog (dashboards, alerts, APM, SLO/SLA monitoring).
• Operate data orchestration platforms such as Astronomer (Apache Airflow) and support Snowflake integration.
• Participate in architectural reviews, cross‑team initiatives, and on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• Strong experience with core AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route53).
• Advanced Kubernetes administration skills, including RBAC, network policies, and autoscaling.
• Solid expertise in Terraform for IaC, including modules and remote state management.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and GitOps practices.
• Proficient scripting in Python and/or Bash.
