Senior Mobile Engineer – React Native

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the development of a React Native (Expo) application that is nearing its App Store launch. The role is critical for a vendor transition, requiring rapid onboarding to an existing codebase and ensuring continuity while driving performance‑focused enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the current React Native mobile app and guide its ongoing development and release.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver new features and improvements.
• Support the handoff from the current vendor, maintaining stability and knowledge transfer.
• Implement and refine user account flows such as signup and login.
• Build interactive, controller‑like experiences and other real‑time features.
• Optimize app performance, reduce latency, and improve responsiveness.
• Participate in technical discussions and influence architectural decisions, including potential native migration.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with React Native and Expo.
• Proven track record of evolving production‑grade mobile applications.
• Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of mobile architecture and best practices.
• Ability to ramp up quickly in a fast‑paced environment and work across distributed teams.
