Senior Payroll Analyst – Global Payroll Operations

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to lead end‑to‑end payroll operations across multiple countries in Brazil. The role ensures payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery while supporting HR teams and employees with exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of countries for payroll and benefit administration.
• Oversee monthly labor reporting, reconciliation, and tax payments.
• Provide HR and employee support by researching inquiries and delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Maintain payroll accuracy through robust internal controls and vendor management.
• Create purchase orders, review invoices, and ensure timely invoice clearance.
• Identify and analyze payroll issues, develop solution options, and drive continuous process improvement.
• Support expansion projects, including acquisitions and new country setups.
• Participate in mandatory audits, supplying required reports and documentation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge base and internal desktop procedures.

Required profile

• Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish (both written and spoken).
• Proven experience in payroll, finance, or accounting functions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and planning abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
