Tax Manager

About the role

Epiroc is seeking a Tax Manager to lead statutory tax compliance and tax accounting across its Brazilian operations. The role will ensure accurate and timely tax filings, support strategic tax planning, and drive the implementation of the Brazilian Tax Reform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and filing of all tax returns and reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) in compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations.
• Ensure tax accounting records align with IFRS, CPC, and internal standards, reviewing current and deferred tax calculations.
• Coordinate tax reporting submissions to Corporate Tax and monitor compliance across all filings.
• Manage tax‑related system updates (e.g., BPCS, Mastersaf) to reflect legislative changes.
• Oversee withholding tax processes and perform periodic reconciliations of key tax accounts.
• Lead adaptation to the Brazilian Tax Reform, including system and process changes.
• Develop and maintain transfer pricing documentation in line with local regulations and global policies.
• Coordinate tax audits and manage relationships with internal/external auditors and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading statutory tax compliance and tax accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation and recent tax reform.
• Experience preparing transfer pricing documentation and supporting global tax policies.
• Ability to coordinate tax audits and interact with auditors and tax authorities.
