Teacher Assistant – Early Childhood (40 hrs) – Temporary

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual classroom assistant to support early‑childhood educators in delivering engaging, immersive learning experiences. This temporary, 40‑hour per week position offers the chance to contribute to children’s linguistic and social development in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing planned activities and lessons.
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of children at all times.
• Intervene during play to guide learning and social interaction.
• Organize classroom materials and students’ personal belongings.
• Document evidence of learning and progress.
• Lead small‑group activities under teacher supervision.
• Support children with personal hygiene needs.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Education or currently enrolled in a Pedagogy program.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Experience working with early‑childhood children, preferably in an immersion setting.
