Audio Visual Technician

About the role

We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join a leading tech company in São Paulo. The role involves installing, configuring and maintaining AV and IT equipment in studio environments, ensuring seamless production workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Install AV and IT equipment according to diagrams and technical instructions.
• Assemble and set up professional video gear, including cameras, lenses, monitors and power systems.
• Mount and connect video equipment in studios, routing signals to switchers, capture systems and displays.
• Run and terminate low‑voltage cabling (SDI, XLR, Ethernet) and manage cable labeling and testing.
• Install studio lighting and accessories following predefined lighting plans.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair AV and IT system issues, applying quick work‑arounds to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Native or fluent English (C1 level) with strong written and spoken communication.
• Hands‑on experience with computer hardware assembly, testing and basic repair.
• Familiarity with multimeters, AC/DC principles and soldering on printed circuit boards.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and peripheral device setup.
• Understanding of video camera operation, basic audio equipment and photography fundamentals is a plus.
