Localization Project Coordinator (Sao Paulo)

About the role

The Localization Project Coordinator will oversee the planning and execution of language projects for our global clients, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire life‑cycle of multiple localization projects in a fast‑paced environment
• Coordinate all project phases and predict the lifespan of each stage
• Liaise with sales staff to clarify project parameters
• Negotiate deadlines and rates with vendors
• Establish and maintain relationships with contract translators and proofreaders worldwide
• Monitor and control project status
• Manage project finances, including budgeting
• Prepare and maintain project documentation
• Comply with relevant procedures
• Perform quality checks at various stages to ensure accuracy

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages are a plus
• University degree, preferably in linguistics or translation studies
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a similar corporate role
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to multitask
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities
• Independent and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
• Highly developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
• Experience in translation and localization project management is a strong advantage
