Project Coordinator Intern

About the role

Join TransPerfect as a Project Coordinator Intern and support the end‑to‑end management of translation and interpretation projects. You will guide collaborators through certification, handle onboarding, and ensure assignments are matched with the right linguistic resources.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of interpretation projects, from sourcing to execution.
• Screen external candidates, contact interpreters, translators, reviewers and other language professionals.
• Manage the onboarding process, including system setup, document collection, contract assistance and instruction delivery.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of linguists and their details.
• Negotiate rates with contract interpreters and issue purchase orders for vendors.
• Ensure project deadlines are met and comply with internal ISO‑aligned procedures.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an educational institution and eligible to sign an internship agreement.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and multitasking abilities.
• Analytical problem‑solving skills and independence in task execution.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to challenges and manage time effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Windows operating system.
• Familiarity with Gsuite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Knowledge of collaboration tools such as Slack, Confluence and Notion.
