Vendor Management Intern

About the role

The Vendor Management Intern will join TransPerfect’s Vendor Management department, supporting production teams by handling vendor capacity needs. This role offers hands‑on experience in recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining relationships with a global network of translators, proofreaders, DTP specialists and other language experts.

Key responsibilities

• Search for new vendors across platforms, post job ads, and evaluate candidate CVs.
• Negotiate service rates with selected vendors.
• Set up new vendors in internal systems, manage documentation, and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate certification tests, schedule reviews, and maintain training records.
• Create and update dashboards tracking vendor performance and certifications.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an educational institution eligible for a 6‑month internship agreement.
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
• Studies in translation, linguistics or related fields are highly desirable.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
