Operational Risk Intern

About the role

The Operational Risk Intern will support the day‑to‑day activities of the Operational Risk team, contributing to initiatives related to operational risk management, internal controls, governance, process improvement and risk reporting. This role offers the chance to work closely with various business and support functions, gaining practical risk‑management experience in a global financial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily Operational Risk activities, including risk documentation, internal controls and reporting.
• Assist with the Operational Risk framework, such as RCSA activities, action‑plan tracking and incident management.
• Participate in process mapping and improvement using SIPOC, BPMN, Visio and ARIS Express.
• Prepare and update spreadsheets, dashboards, presentations and management reports.
• Maintain policies, procedures, risk and control matrices, and other governance documentation.
• Collect information from internal stakeholders and follow up on action‑plan updates.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Law or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
