RTO Services Internship – Real-Time Optimization

About the role

We are looking for a Chemical Engineering student to work with Real‑Time Optimization (RTO) and Process Digital Twin (PDT), supporting initiatives in mathematical modeling, simulation, and process optimization using commercial tools.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mathematical modeling, simulation, and optimization of engineering processes using industry‑standard software.
• Support project activities such as interpreting process diagrams, configuring basic flowsheets, and preparing technical documentation and reports.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Chemical Engineering degree program.
• Basic knowledge of commercial simulators such as PRO/II, DWSIM, Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, and MATLAB.
• Basic knowledge of structured programming languages like Python, Visual Basic, C, or C++.
• Interest in mathematical modeling, process simulation and optimization, thermodynamics, and process control.
• Strong communication skills and ability to produce clear documents and reports.
• Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
