Remote Accountant – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a full-time remote Accountant to join Foundey, a strategic UI/UX design agency serving SaaS, AI and tech startups. You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations that keep the business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and financial statements.
• Reconcile accounts and oversee payroll processing.
• Monitor compliance with GAAP/IFRS and relevant tax regulations.
• Support internal and external financial audits.
• Collaborate with design, product and leadership teams to ensure reliable reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Full professional fluency in English.
• U.S. CPA or other accounting certifications are a plus.

• WaveApp or QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
