Accountant (Remote)

About the role

Foundey is looking for a full‑time remote Accountant to manage daily financial operations and support the company’s growth in the SaaS and tech startup space. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
• Monitor compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Reconcile accounts and oversee payroll processing.
• Support internal and external financial audits.
• Collaborate with designers, technologists, and other stakeholders to provide timely financial insights.

Required profile

• Proficiency in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of tax compliance, budgeting, and audit processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Understanding of GAAP or IFRS standards.
• Full English fluency.
• U.S. CPA or other professional certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in compliance or governance roles is advantageous.
