Tax Manager – Latin America

About the role

As a Tax Manager for Latin America, you will support the Regional Tax Senior Manager in ensuring tax compliance and mitigating risks across multiple jurisdictions. You will act as a key business partner to finance, legal, treasury and commercial teams, providing tax expertise for operational and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage regional tax compliance activities, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT/IVA, withholding taxes and other statutory obligations.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, finance teams and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and reporting.
• Support preparation and review of corporate tax calculations, VAT reconciliations and withholding tax validations.
• Assist with transfer‑pricing compliance, intercompany transactions and cross‑border operational reviews.
• Support tax audits, tax authority inquiries and preparation of audit documentation.
• Provide tax analysis for bids, tenders, contracts and commercial transactions.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives related to tax controls, governance, automation and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Law, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 7–8 years of experience in a multinational tax environment, preferably supporting Latin America operations.
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT/IVA, withholding taxes and international tax concepts.
• Experience with ERP platforms (Oracle preferred) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Mandatory proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities, with capacity to manage multiple priorities and work independently under tight deadlines.
