Junior Tech Support Engineer – Process Engineering/Simulation

About the role

Join AVEVA’s dynamic support team in São Paulo, where you will help global customers solve complex simulation challenges. As a Junior Tech Support Engineer you will troubleshoot issues, deliver training, and collaborate with R&D and product teams to ensure the reliability of process engineering software.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound technical support cases and provide timely resolutions.
• Diagnose, replicate, and research work‑arounds for simulation software issues.
• Document findings and actions in the case‑tracking system.
• Create and maintain technical knowledge assets such as Tech Notes, articles, and white papers.
• Conduct remote and on‑site training sessions for customers.
• Travel to customer sites or conferences for troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in process engineering or process simulation (or equivalent pre‑graduation experience).
• Fluent verbal and written communication in Portuguese and English.

Required skills

• Process simulation tools (e.g., AVEVA SimSci APS, Pro/II, ADS, APO, PipePhase).
• Technical troubleshooting and issue diagnosis.
• Documentation in case‑tracking and knowledge‑base systems.
• Customer training and knowledge transfer.
