Senior Data Analyst

About the role

3M is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support Global Business Services, finance and commercial teams. You will design and deliver data and analytics solutions that improve visibility across key value streams such as Order to Cash, Market to Order and Global Marketing & Sales Services.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain ad‑hoc analysis and reporting for order management, pricing and digital marketing.
• Develop SQL queries to validate customer data, support pricing analysis, margin visibility and marketing campaigns.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide insights into end‑to‑end operations.
• Partner with global, regional and local stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data, document improvement opportunities and implement reporting best practices.
• Document reporting logic, SQL code, Power BI definitions, data sources and business rules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in reporting, analytics, business or pricing analysis, financial or marketing analytics.
• Solid experience using SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation or reporting.
• Proven ability to create and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Hands‑on experience with Python for exploratory analysis.
• Awareness of generative AI tools for data exploration and willingness to propose their integration.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends and translate business needs into actionable reports.
• Experience working with global stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.
• Basic understanding of data‑governance principles.
