Technology Lead – Azure & Snowflake Data Engineer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a senior Technology Lead to drive data engineering initiatives on Azure and Snowflake platforms. The role focuses on designing, supporting, and maintaining robust data pipelines for national and international clients, while ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor alerts and resolve execution failures in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake pipelines.
• Review monitoring reports, create PBIs/user stories, and drive issue resolution.
• Respond to user queries via Zoom channels, capture process gaps, and implement fixes.
• Develop and maintain batch and streaming pipelines using Azure cloud services, Databricks, Python, and Spark.
• Investigate data quality issues, perform missing‑data analysis, and remediate jobs that miss schedules.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in data pipeline design, support, and development (5+ years for senior level).
• Strong background in Azure cloud services, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake.
• Proven expertise in Python and Spark for ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with Git‑based version control and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with stakeholders.
