Account Manager – Energy Sector (OPGW)

About the role

FiberHome is looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead the sales of its OPGW‑based energy solutions in Brazil. The role focuses on expanding the company’s presence in the electricity transmission and distribution market, building strong relationships with utilities, EPCs and integrators, and driving end‑to‑end commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and develop existing accounts for FiberHome’s energy solutions portfolio across Brazil.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with transmission and distribution companies, EPC contractors, system integrators and other key stakeholders.
• Identify project opportunities, promote OPGW optical communication, transmission line, substation and secondary equipment solutions.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, pre‑sales and technical teams to create commercial strategies and customer engagement plans.
• Support product certification, homologation and technical testing with clients.
• Conduct regular on‑site visits and coordinate with purchasing, engineering, logistics and technical departments.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes in the Brazilian electricity sector.
• Manage the full sales cycle from qualification and proposal preparation to negotiation and project delivery follow‑up.
• Provide market feedback to influence product development and strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Marketing, IT, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales, business development or pre‑sales experience in the Brazilian electricity transmission and distribution market.
• Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and engaging multiple stakeholders within utility organisations.
• Experience with infrastructure projects, technical sales cycles and utilities environments.
