Account Manager (Fragrance Ingredients)

About the role

Givaudan is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth of its Fragrance Ingredients portfolio in Brazil. Reporting to the FIB Sales Director (Americas), you will manage key ingredient accounts, build strong customer relationships, and ensure profitable business development.

Key responsibilities

• Grow Givaudan Fragrance Ingredients business with designated accounts, managing top‑line and bottom‑line performance.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with ingredient customers, monitoring their needs and market trends.
• Track competitor activity and keep customer information up to date.
• Develop and execute account plans for key accounts.
• Prepare and deliver internal and customer presentations.
• Meet sales and gross profit KPIs, taking corrective actions when required.
• Ensure compliance with Givaudan EHS and regulatory guidelines.
• Handle client complaints, support supply‑chain and credit teams, and oversee smooth execution of agreements.
• Allocate ~50% of time to administrative tasks such as RFQs, forecasting, and supply‑chain coordination.
• Oversee pricing, budgeting, and credit management, using SAP and Excel.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in fragrance ingredients.
• Native Portuguese speaker with fluent English.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Passion for the fragrance ingredients industry and solid knowledge of olfactive and regulatory fundamentals.
