About the role

We are looking for a Technical Support Assistant to join a 24x7 NOC/SOC environment in Brazil. You will help ensure the stability and performance of critical IT infrastructure by monitoring networks, servers, and security alerts in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure, servers, IT services and security alerts, detecting anomalies quickly.
• Track dashboards and monitoring tools, open and follow up on technical incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, system and infrastructure incidents.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, operational records and incident reports.
• Support scheduled infrastructure changes, maintenance activities and verify backups.
• Communicate incident status and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in asset management and inventory control of infrastructure components.
• Perform connectivity diagnostics and both physical and logical network troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Previous experience in NOC or Level 1/2 Technical Support within an ISP, telecom operator or integrator.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and Ethernet fundamentals.
• Familiarity with optical network infrastructure such as backbone, FTTH or transport networks.
• Hands‑on experience with CLI environments (Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Ciena, Nokia, Mikrotik or similar).
• Ability to diagnose optical network issues and perform physical‑layer troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills for remote customer support and accurate technical documentation.
• Availability to work in a 24x7 night‑shift rotation.
• Technical education in Network Administration or a related field.
