Associate Manager, Medical Services – LATAM

About the role

The Associate Manager, Medical Services – LATAM will lead the delivery of premium medical information services for internal and external stakeholders, supporting the commercialization of PTC Therapeutics products across Latin America. Based in Sao Paulo, the role works closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners to ensure accurate, compliant medical communication.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the medical information inquiry handling service and provide second‑line expertise for escalated queries.
• Conduct literature searches and draft custom responses to unique medical questions.
• Create and maintain standard response and FAQ documents, adapting them to local preferences while preserving core consistency.
• Review medical and marketing materials for scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses, answering questions at medical booths.
• Disseminate timely medical/scientific alerts to internal colleagues.
• Implement and improve processes, systems, and tools for knowledge sharing within Medical Services.
• Identify and report issues that could impact product safety or business performance.
• Act as deputy for the manager when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in medical information within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry codes and legislation relevant to medical information.
• Proven expertise in drug information communication and management.
