Backend Developer (PHP & Go) – Remote Brazil

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join a fast‑scaling mobility and delivery platform used across thousands of Brazilian cities. The role is fully remote and focuses on building high‑availability services that power millions of rides and deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP and Go.
• Support deployment pipelines, monitoring, and maintenance across development, staging, and production environments.
• Contribute to database design, data modeling, and SQL schema optimization.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot bugs, and implement fixes to ensure uptime.
• Collaborate with product squads to enhance platform features and performance.
• Participate in architectural discussions to improve scalability, robustness, and user experience.
• Ensure coding, testing, and design best practices are followed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of backend development experience in high‑availability environments.
• Strong proficiency with PHP, Go, and JavaScript for service development.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data‑modeling best practices.
• Proven ability to build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Analytical mindset with strong logical reasoning.
• Collaborative communication style and willingness to learn new technologies.
