Communications & PR Manager – Brazil

About the role

Crunchyroll is seeking a Communications & Public Relations Manager to lead its communications strategy in Brazil. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager for LATAM, you will shape the brand’s presence across media, culture, and fandom, driving earned media and building strong connections with fans, creators, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies supporting streaming launches, theatrical releases, brand campaigns, and major announcements.
• Build and maintain relationships with entertainment, lifestyle, business, technology, and trade media throughout Brazil.
• Identify cultural moments and news opportunities to reinforce Crunchyroll’s position as the home of anime.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Social Media, Events, Partnerships, Lifecycle Marketing, and global Communications teams for cohesive campaigns.
• Lead executive, creator, and talent communications, including media tours, interviews, press briefings, and spokesperson preparation.
• Drive communications for premieres, conventions, fan events, and screenings to generate earned media.
• Monitor media sentiment, assess emerging issues, and provide reputation‑management recommendations.
• Measure campaign performance, analyze earned‑media results, and share insights with regional and global stakeholders.
• Manage PR agency partners to ensure high‑quality execution aligned with brand goals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or entertainment communications.
• Background supporting consumer brands, streaming platforms, media companies, or other content‑driven organizations.
• Strong relationships with Brazilian media across entertainment, lifestyle, business, and technology sectors.
