Community and Development Coordinator

About the role

Sinergia Animal is seeking a Community and Development Coordinator to strengthen its activist network in Brazil. You will support campaigns, events, and donor relations while fostering a vibrant community of ambassadors, volunteers, and supporters.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a united community of ambassadors and activists across Brazil.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for online and street actions.
• Organize participation in vegan and related events to raise brand awareness.
• Engage existing and potential individual donors via email and phone.
• Handle logistics for donor gifts and regional travel for campaign support.
• Represent Sinergia Animal at public events and within the broader animal‑protection sector.
• Develop alliances with other NGOs and execute tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Excellent oral, written, and proofreading communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team.
• Strong commitment to the organization’s mission, non‑violent direct actions, and animal‑rights advocacy.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for vegan lifestyle and animal‑rights issues.
