Corporate Communications Senior Manager

About the role

FIFA’s local subsidiary in Brazil is seeking a Corporate Communications Senior Manager to lead the communications strategy for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™. The role will shape the tournament’s narrative across Brazil and South America, aligning with FIFA’s global objectives and the Women’s Football Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive, strategic messaging and storytelling for tournament milestones, campaigns, and announcements.
• Coordinate communications with internal FIFA27 functional teams, host city authorities, the CBF, and other key partners.
• Design pre‑emptive communication plans to manage risk and address sensitive topics.
• Lead issues and crisis communications planning in close partnership with the FIFA Communications Division.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Media Relations, and other communications teams to ensure narrative unity and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in corporate communications and public relations, preferably for large‑scale sporting events.
• Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into compelling narratives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, working with government bodies, sports federations, and media partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Portuguese is an advantage.
