Country Manager

About the role

The Country Manager will lead Benefit’s commercial operations in Brazil, driving overall business development across product and service lines. This senior position is accountable for the full P&L, from topline sales to bottom‑line profitability, and will shape the brand’s growth strategy in both brick‑and‑mortar and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Set and monitor annual retail and net‑sales targets; analyse weekly, monthly and quarterly performance against forecasts, budget and prior year.
• Manage product and service revenue streams, ensuring inventory aligns with sell‑out and shipment plans.
• Develop competitive strategies based on beauty‑marketing and retail execution insights, both in‑store and online.
• Prepare monthly sales and profit forecasts; build and revise annual budgets, allocating resources to protect margins.
• Oversee P&L performance, separating product vs. service and B&M vs. digital, maintaining healthy net‑sales percentages.
• Recruit, develop and retain office and retail teams; set clear objectives, conduct performance appraisals and ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Lead new‑store openings, negotiate commercial terms, coordinate with marketing, visual merchandising and operations, and manage CAPEX approvals.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing full P&L for a consumer‑goods or beauty brand in a national market.
• Strong track record in retail sales growth, budgeting and forecasting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams and drive performance.
• Excellent negotiation skills with retail partners and vendors.
• Deep understanding of both physical and digital retail channels.
