Cyber Security Analyst – Real‑time Threat Detection

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cyber Security Analyst/Researcher to work directly with enterprise customers on real‑time threat detection and bot mitigation. You will analyse web traffic, identify malicious patterns, and help protect critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate advanced and persistent attacks using data analysis and data‑science tools.
• Analyse customers' web traffic with Elasticsearch and BigQuery to detect unknown threats and reduce false positives.
• Research, design and continuously improve detection mechanisms to stay ahead of evolving threats.
• Provide real‑time technical support and incident response to global customers.
• Produce clear incident reports and collaborate with R&D and research teams.
• Design, plan and implement internal automation projects to increase team efficiency.
• Work on a shift‑based schedule, including weekends.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis within cybersecurity or fraud detection.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional, polite communication with customers in English.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL (complex queries, aggregations, window functions, CTEs).
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Elastic Stack and SIEM systems.
• Proficiency with BigQuery and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
• Understanding of web technologies (APIs, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript).
