Data Engineer II (Hybrid) – São Paulo

About the role

Ebury is looking for a Data Engineer II to join its fast‑growing data team in São Paulo. You will work in a hybrid setting (four days in the office, one day remote) and help shape the data platform that powers the company’s fintech innovations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines from APIs, transactional databases and file sources using Airflow (Cloud Composer).
• Build and support scalable infrastructure for machine‑learning models and LLM‑powered agents.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to identify high‑impact data opportunities and lead autonomous projects.
• Apply software‑engineering best practices, including Dockerized environments, CI/CD pipelines and code quality standards.
• Ensure data quality and contract compliance using dbt, DuckDB and DLT.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of professional experience with Python and SQL.
• Agile problem‑solver who can deliver production‑grade solutions quickly.
• Business‑curious mindset with the ability to understand the impact of data work on company outcomes.
• Advanced English proficiency for daily collaboration with a global team.
