About the role

Lenovo is looking for a Windows Image Engineer to design, build, test, and deliver custom Windows images for its ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, and ThinkStation product lines, as well as occasional non‑Lenovo hardware. The role combines deep technical expertise with client‑facing communication to ensure images meet precise customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, test, and deploy custom Windows images from scratch for multiple hardware platforms.
• Use imaging tools such as Microsoft DISM, Windows ADK, Sysprep, and custom OOBE configurations.
• Create and maintain automation scripts (batch, PowerShell, Autopilot, VBScript) for image customization.
• Document project scope, gather BIOS/CMOS requirements, and produce test plans for client approval.
• Package approved images for manufacturing and manage the release process.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and contribute to proposals.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating and customizing Windows images from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of operating system architecture, boot processes, and configuration techniques.
• Excellent communication skills in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
• Detail‑oriented, results‑driven, and able to work independently and within a team.
