Director, Legal Counsel

About the role

Prologis is seeking a senior legal counsel to join its Brazil legal team in São Paulo. Reporting to the VP, Legal Counsel, the Director will provide hands‑on legal advice across real‑estate transactions, environmental matters, leasing, litigation and property management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal due diligence and identify risks for sophisticated real‑estate deals.
• Negotiate, draft and close complex acquisition, built‑to‑suit and lease agreements.
• Support the full project lifecycle for acquisitions, strategic ventures and new business lines.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory frameworks and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate contract enforcement, monitor condominium rule compliance and manage external litigation counsel.
• Integrate emerging technology, automation and AI tools to improve legal efficiency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in real‑estate and corporate law with a solutions‑oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and lead all legal aspects of complex transactions.
• Customer‑facing mindset and strong collaboration skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Sound judgment, creative thinking and accountability for outcomes.
