About the role

Edelman is seeking a Finance Director to lead financial planning, budgeting, and analysis for its Brazil office. The role operates in a hybrid model (3 days onsite in Pinheiros, 2 days remote) and reports directly to senior leadership, ensuring financial health and strategic pricing across client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Control and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
• Close revenue periods and oversee pricing strategies.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Conduct detailed profitability analysis per client.
• Review and critically assess contracts.
• Support audit processes and interface with the Controllership team.
• Lead and develop the direct finance team.
• Negotiate terms with clients and suppliers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar finance leadership roles, preferably in multinational companies or communication agencies.
• Completed higher education in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on financial performance.
