Dynamics Engineer (Propulsion Systems Virtual Engineering)

About the role

The Dynamics Engineer will join Bosch's Propulsion Systems Virtual Engineering team in Campinas, focusing on advanced simulations that support product development and research for durability, functionality, and NVH performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collect input data and develop 1D, 2D, and 3D virtual models of propulsion components and systems.
• Run multi‑body dynamics (MBD) and finite element (FE) simulations, post‑process results, and communicate findings to internal customers.
• Validate models against test data and perform root‑cause analyses for vibration, load, and NVH issues.
• Design and execute experiments (DoE) to optimise trade‑offs between performance, durability, weight, and functionality.
• Act as the primary technical contact for stakeholders, managing data validation, result revisions, and cross‑functional communication.

Required profile

• Strong background in mechanical dynamics, NVH, and virtual modelling of automotive propulsion systems.
• Experience with MBD and FE tools for engines, transmissions, and hybrid components.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage workload globally, and deliver high‑quality results.
