Early Years Head Teacher

About the role

Red House is seeking an experienced Early Years Head Teacher to lead our bilingual classroom for children aged 1 to 3 years. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, support student development, and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Red House’s pedagogical approach and individual student needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, implementing strategies to boost engagement and performance.
• Apply differentiated instruction, including support for learners with challenges.
• Supervise and mentor the Teaching Assistant in daily classroom routines.
• Maintain student safety and well‑being during all school activities.
• Communicate regularly with coordination staff and families about student development.
• Prepare lesson plans, reports, and required academic documentation on schedule.
• Support classroom organization, student portfolios, and learning environment setup.
• Collaborate with the teaching team, sharing best practices and student insights.
• Participate in academic meetings, family conferences, and professional development.

Required profile

• Degree in Pedagogy.
• Minimum 5 years of classroom experience, including at least 2 years as a head teacher of early childhood (ages 1‑3).
• Experience in nursery settings and classroom management.
• Proficiency in English.
