Engineer - Structures & Ancillaries

About the role

As a Subsea Structural Engineer at NOV Subsea Production Systems, you will design and document welded steel structures and ancillary components that support flexible pipe systems used in offshore environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce detailed documentation for welded steel structures and essential offshore components.
• Develop and procure ancillary items such as bend stiffeners and buoyancy modules.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with offshore engineering standards.
• Support continuous improvement and rigorous documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (M.Sc. preferred).
• Experience with steel, bolting, and welding; knowledge of polymers and composites is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset combined with project‑management abilities.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Detail‑oriented, collaborative, and organized, comfortable working in a global, multidisciplinary environment.
