Finance Director – Tires Business (Brazil & Mercosur)

About the role

Continental is seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance function for its Tires business across Brazil and the Mercosur region. You will be responsible for the financial and fiscal health of the legal entity, ensuring alignment with Group strategy and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Customs functions for Brazil and Mercosur, including support for Argentina.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations and risk‑management standards.
• Oversee financial planning and reporting (actuals, forecasts, budgets) and deliver timely insights to senior leadership.
• Consolidate and analyse regional performance to support strategic decision‑making.
• Guarantee statutory, tax and regulatory compliance, manage audits and corrective actions.
• Drive tax optimisation and improve import/export efficiency.
• Define and execute finance strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with procurement, leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Manage contracts, insurance and real‑estate matters.
• Maintain relationships with government authorities and industry associations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or a related field.
• Solid experience in finance, with proven leadership of teams.
• Strong background in accounting, treasury, controlling, compliance and internal controls.
• Experience in multinational, matrix organisations, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Fluency in English and international or intercultural experience.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to influence business decisions.
