Finance Manager – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

Uproot Clean is seeking a proactive Finance Manager to own the full accounting cycle, improve reporting speed and accuracy, and support operational decision‑making as the company scales. This fully remote position works closely with the VP of Operations to build a scalable finance function for a fast‑growing ecommerce and retail pet‑care brand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including month‑end close and financial statement preparation.
• Reduce month‑end close timeline from five to three days by identifying and fixing inefficiencies.
• Oversee bookkeeping team and accounts payable clerk, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Apply landed costs, track product margins, and maintain accurate cost accounting.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions.

Required profile

• 1+ year experience in ecommerce or direct‑to‑consumer finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable owning end‑to‑end processes.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑growth, remote environment.
