Forward Deployed Engineer – Agentic AI

About the role

Solvd is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with clients on high‑ambiguity GenAI and agentic AI initiatives. You will translate unclear business problems into validated, production‑grade AI solutions, guiding projects from discovery through MVP and first production release.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery and solution shaping for GenAI/Agentic AI projects, working directly with client stakeholders to understand workflows, systems and data.
• Build fast proof‑of‑concepts and prototypes, validating architectural assumptions with real or representative data.
• Define solution designs covering model strategy, data access, orchestration, tool integration and production constraints.
• Evaluate and select AI frameworks, LLMs, vector databases, orchestration tools and cloud AI services.
• Stay involved through MVP or first production release to ensure alignment with expected outcomes and operational readiness.

Required profile

• 8+ years of IT experience with strong software design and engineering background.
• 2+ years hands‑on experience building GenAI or agentic AI systems using modern LLM ecosystems (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Azure AI, AWS Bedrock).
• Proven ability to guide clients through ambiguous problems, prototype rapidly and deliver production‑ready solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex AI concepts to both technical and business audiences.
