About the role

Kerry is seeking a senior leader to head its Regulatory & Scientific Affairs function for Brazil and the South Cone. The manager will ensure compliance with local regulations, build scientific credibility, and act as a proactive partner to customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the regional Regulatory & Scientific Affairs strategy aligned with global standards and LATAM business priorities.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing team, driving technical excellence and engagement.
• Monitor, interpret and communicate regulatory and legislative changes (ANVISA, MAPA, MERCOSUR, etc.) and assess business impact.
• Represent Kerry with regulatory authorities, industry associations and external stakeholders.
• Support product development, commercialization and customer requests with timely regulatory guidance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Commercial, R&D, Quality, Operations and Marketing to manage risk and enable growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, pharmacy, nutrition, engineering or related field; postgraduate qualification desirable.
• 10+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs and/or Scientific Affairs within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian and South Cone regulatory frameworks; LATAM experience preferred.
• Proven people‑leadership experience in a regional or matrixed organization.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish highly desirable.
