Head of Business Unit – São Paulo

About the role

Airbus | Helibras is seeking a senior executive to lead its São Paulo base, overseeing MRO, operations, services and commercial relationships. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Business Unit will drive strategic growth and ensure operational excellence for military, public‑sector, O&G and civil customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement short‑, medium‑ and long‑term operational and service strategies aligned with global Airbus standards.
• Integrate MRO, operations and service functions to deliver on‑time, cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions.
• Monitor KPIs, anticipate risks and execute corrective actions.
• Maintain strategic relationships with military, public‑sector, O&G and civil clients, as well as regulators and key partners.
• Lead, develop and motivate multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory and technical reliability standards.
• Manage financial performance, evaluate strategic investment impacts and embed sustainable practices.

Required profile

• Completed higher education; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
• Proven senior leadership experience, preferably in the aerospace sector.
• Track record of managing operations serving military, public‑sector, O&G or civil customers.
• Strong influence, negotiation and representation capabilities.
