Implementation Specialist

About the role

The Implementation Specialist joins Mastercard’s Customer Implementation Services team to guide customers through end‑to‑end processing implementation projects. You will act as the primary contact for customers and Mastercard representatives, ensuring that new and core payment products are deployed smoothly and in line with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define scope, plan and drive processing implementation projects for electronic payment services.
• Assess and document customer requirements and the impact on Mastercard’s processing platforms.
• Provide technical advisory and training to customer processing support staff.
• Execute comprehensive system impact analyses and coordinate testing activities.
• Ensure processing interfaces comply with Mastercard product rules and specifications.
• Deliver both standard and complex implementations while maintaining quality and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially for teaching and customer interaction.
• Project management experience and ability to work in a fast‑changing, ambiguous environment.
• Knowledge of electronic payment processes such as authorization, clearing and settlement.
